The History of Kedah.Fm begin in 1968, at that time a representative stationed at federal wisma Alor Star Kedah ,The focus of the task is to cover ,recording and interviews ,an event that occurred in the vicinity of Kedah and Perlis .Publication RtM broadcasting Penang and Kuala Lumpur.Temorary station known as Radio Malaysia Alor Star (Icludes ) was established in 1976 .includes brodcasting Complex of Sultan Abdul Halim and continue brodcasting in the area until now .The complex officianlly opened by HRH the Sultan of Kedah on February 8,1992 is noted for its name Alor Star Radio 3 (R3AS) station directly approacing people ,especially the state of Kedah Darul Aman as a platfrom to deliver policy -Government policies more accurately and quickly The field of brodcasting and communication technology developments in fast-growing force these stations to make the re-branding (rebranding) ,especially to compete with private stations that grow like 'mushrooms after the rain' .The launch ofthe rebranding of the station took place on May 25.2005 ,Serval reforms aimed at improvements made to attract more listeners to follow this radio station. name  of the tag line KedahFm Mesra Harmoni (frequency MHz 88.7/90.795.5/105.1 and 105.7) is expected to continue increasing the numbers of listeners,especially young people ,Starting 12 November 2005 KedahFm statio operates 24 hours a day through the frequency is also a radio brodcast online through web -www .kedahfm.gov.my opponent.In 2010 KedahFm change of operating hours  from 24 hours to 18 hours a day in the Malay language including local news and Malaysian music .Open KedahFm announcer voice will echo accompany KedahFm whomsoever
